Space Shuttle

Okay I am getting used to this "new fangled" journal.....well not really...

But I did think I would put a few comments in here about the Space Shuttle. What a lift-off...and now what a bummer! The NASA program has had so many ups and downs it makes one wonder.

Maybe we are doing too much or maybe we are not doing enough. There are always going to be bad expeditions and good expeditions, but if the program doesn't work on keeping their technology up-to-date then we have no choice but to ground the fleet.

I remember so many of the successful space exploration programs. Yea, I have been around a while. The awe and majesty of seeing the earth from the heavens totally amazed me. And thus when we saw the Space Shuttle separate yesterday I was still in awe. What an accomplishment even today to see from the heavens!

Well just a couple of thoughts to get this started. Hopefully a few of my students will become interested in journalizing here. We'll just wait and see what happens!
